I bought the DVD years ago during a sale and I used dream of being an astronaut when I was little. I can't tell you how many times I watched it during that summer. It's great to watch how the US space program got started.
The one scene where all seven astronauts walking down a hallway with their suits on is a camera shot that's used by other cinematographers for movies like Armageddon.
