Review of The Right Stuff (1983) by Ashley P — 16 Nov 2010
"The Right Stuff" was a great movie, although I didn't quite like the fact that the movie kept making me think that someone was going to die, like Chuck Yeager at the end of the movie. I did enjoy "The Right Stuff," and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in older astronaut and/or pilot films.
Philip Kaufman is a great director and I would like to see more of his films, if any. This movie was getting a little boring at the end, then there was more action when Chuck Yeager went up to space and lost control of his aircraft.
I think "The Right Stuff" made me realize that I like action-packed movies or that the actors should be a little active in these kinds of movies. I also liked the fact that this movie was in color.
I don't really like that many movies in black and white, but if I have to watch them for a class, then I deal with it. It was very entertaining.
