Review of The Revenant (2015) by Osman A — 26 Apr 2016
Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu has done it once again with The Revenant. He's created a film that experiments with both brutality and realism, perfectly combining the two to make an absolutely stunning, gorgeous, and breathtaking film. DiCaprio MUST win that frickin Oscar. Truly, he gives the best performance by an actor in all of 2015. Not to mention, Tom Hardy kicks some ass as well (When does he not?). The Revenant is mind blowing and masterful filmmaking, and when you combine those two...you'll get a film that will knock you flat off your feet in awe.
Grade: A+.
