Review of The Revenant (2015) by Brice B — 31 May 2016
Great screenplay and some amazing scenes where the camera seems to go from character to character (the best is certainly the fight against the Indians at the beginning of the movie). The rest is a hollow and uninteresting story where the survival of the main character makes absolutely no sense.
If it had been John Rambo, we would have complained about the lack of realism but with Leonardo he got the Oscar he deserved.
