Review of The Revenant (2015) by Randy Y — 08 Nov 2016
With an breathe taking scenery, powerful acting, and brutal storytelling, the film stays true the name The Revenant. The Characters of this film explores a wide range of human traits from Hugh Glass to John Fitzgerald and every character in between.
Although it lost momentum towards the end of the movie, this epic adventure was gripping at every turn. The struggle to survive becomes a burning desire to do justice and the raw portrayal of it was even grotesque, but perhaps that is the single most compelling force that makes this film so relatable to the reality of being human.
