This is a gorgeous film. It's like seeing pictures from a dozen National Geographic magazines in drama format.
DiCaprio's acting through the medium of mostly grunts for about half the film was reminiscent of the minimalist communication in Wall-E.
I can say I've rarely seen a villain acted so well as Tom Hardy. He was absolutely phenomenal.
