The Revenant was intense. There was a story in it, and this movie was one of the top box office movies of the year. When I saw this movie, I was captivated by how Hugh Glass struggled with survival ever since his attack with the bear.
If you want a movie that is intense, completely captivating, and gives the thrill of survival, this is the epitome of that.
