The ferocious, edgy humour of this flick reminds me more of American Werewolf in London than Shaun of the Dead. Showing without mercy the inextricable relation between superheroes, popular culture, violence and faith for justice in American (only?) ideology.
Don't expect laughs, rather an unforgiving grin, like a rictus.
