Review of The Return of the Living Dead (1985) by John-Robert W — 11 Nov 2008
As a horror film, it doesn't scare at all. As a comedy, some of the dry wit works. My major complaint concerning the zombies would be the excessive dialogue; by making them talk, the gap of difference between the living and dead seem to be lost.
It's like making vampires go on vegan diet; the concept may be slightly humorous, but the horror really isn't there for a full length film.
