Review of The Return of the Living Dead (1985) by Dieguchi D — 23 May 2011
One of my all time favorite zombie films of all time. The title is actually kinda misleading: its not really a sequel to any of the George Romero "Living dead" films, its more of a tribute or spoof of the series.
But on the other hand it was great that the movie didn't copy anything Romero did in his films. instead of making it a serious horror/ social satire, it comes out more of a flat out gore comedy. The humor is spot on and the gore effects are outstanding! hopefully it never gets remade.
