Review of The Return of the Living Dead (1985) by Connor G — 29 Nov 2011
A horror-comedy that takes you on a ridiculous, hilarious, and marvelous experience. The concept is a great orginal take on the zombie theme with a healthy dose of comedy. The film references "Night of the Living Dead", showing that the characters are self-aware of zombies from films.
It also inspires greatly from George Romero's works with the focal point of the film being about how strangers can work together and interact in a difficult situation. All in all, the film starts a little slow, but definitely ends up being highly entertaining.
