The Resident stars the very talented Hilary Swank. And as always she is the highlight of the film. There is a part in the movie when Swank's character is being asaulted and she is so still... she really looks asleep leaving the audience unsettled.
The film had promise but the pervert is exposed way to early in the film. They could've easily had you guessing till the climax but instead reveal who it is almost right away. Not to mention the poor DVD jacket design which tells you who the pervert is.
Good premise that had promise but failed in execution.
