Very finely crafted and excellently animated Disney flick. The bit with the boy flying on the eagle is as exhilaratingly beautiful as just about anything on film. Too bad that stupid albatross has to come along and be not-funny.
Casting Newhart and Gabor together was absolutely inspired.
