Review of The Replacement Killers (1998) by Alex R — 25 May 2010

First of all, I think I should say that I only picked this up because it said "from john woo" on the cover.

But its not.

Its from antoine fuqua, john woo is just an executive producer. ah well, it has chow yun fat and plenty of action and pulls it off rather well. all the actors are up to strength especially chow.

Mira can get a bit annoying sometimes but it passes.

Fuqua does his best to do the action right and it is good.

Theres plenty of it the best was the climax in the alleyway that was the most artistic and well done. theres also a car wash shootout, a theatre shootout, an arcade shootout and an apartment shootout so yes, theres plenty of action to go round although it never really sucks you in or has you real excited or impressed :( too bad.

All in all its a solid action movie thats worth a rental because it never quite holds you on the edge of your seat but provides plenty of thrills and a very fun time. enjoy!
