This movie is very subtle in its messages about the movement of time and misguided beliefs. Being misguided can have serious consequences and all is shown in this wonderful film. Hopkins gives a brilliant performance as a professional butler who only lives to serve and pushes all else out of his mind and heart.
This movie makes one feel without saying much. Brilliant.
