Remains of the Day (1993) -- [6.5] -- Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson are terrific in this mightily subdued tale of unrequited love. I only wish that the movie didnâ??t tell the ending, thoroughly and completely, about half-way through the movie, robbing the last half of the film of any dramatic suspense or mystery.
