Review of The Remains of the Day (1993) by Luis Diego R — 11 Dec 2009
Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson certainly CAN act! A classic-beautiful and elegant film about the point of view of service workers towards political issues at the begining of the XX century. Emma Thompson shows us that not only actresses with complex roles can be noticed, she does a very simple role as a maid, but does it perfectly.
The story is engaging, and the overall time-space set is wonderful.
