Review of The Reluctant Dragon (1981) by Simon T — 16 Aug 2016
An odd mixture of semi-documentary studio tour, stiff and whimsical dramatised sequences featuring famous animators like Ward Kimball and voice artists like Clarence 'Donald Duck' Nash, and rather pedestrian animated shorts culminating in the twenty-minute Reluctant Dragon.
But it's still of interest for Disney completists and anyone interested in a romanticised look at Disney production from the early forties.
