Wow...compared to the book, AWFUL.
As a movie decent, but Sci-Fi channel level. You can't see anything the movie is so dark, and the acting is pretty wooden. Monster movie cliches are everywhere, and the beginning and end are extremely abrupt. The only good thing was Stan Winston's creature design, which is actually very wrong for the plot. Don't waste your money.
