Review of The Red Violin (1998) by Scott M — 24 Sep 2009
The movie follows the connections of too many characters. The storyline for each one is engaging and doesn't feel contrived.
While the plot is NOT predictable, the pattern of the flow is, and so after a while you know how each segment will end.
I didn't like Samuel L. Jackson's part as much as I should have.
Ending is a bit of a letdown.
