Review of The Red Pill (2016) by Matthew R — 19 Jun 2017
A very very important and timely film, which seems to have highlighted some aspects of the culture wars that are going on in 2017. Not necessarily a brilliantly made film, but it opens up a necessary conversation.
The heart of this documentary is the journey of the film maker herself. So much of the controversy that has been associated with this film comes from the viewers (and protesters) themselves, and not anything in the film's rather uncontroversial content.
