Review of The Red Pill (2016) by Richard R — 30 Dec 2017
12/30/17 - Wow..! What an amazing film. I've just finished watching (on Amazon) and my body is flush with emotion. The MRA's were nothing like I expected - they seemed quite sincere and, in some cases, seemed truly damaged by their own personal journey.
If there is hatred in these men, I didn't hear it, see it or feel it. Director, Cassie Faye's, personal transformation seems honest and yet very conflicted. And it has not endeared her among her Feminist sisters.
I hope that one day men and women can have a conversation about these troubling gender disparities and injustices starting from a point of compassion and love. A moving and skillful documentary that I recommend without reservation to any man or woman who's interested in learning about the Men's Movement and issues affecting men.
