Simply one of the best action films I've seen. And it's beautiful. And it has poetic moments in it that lift it out of the ordinary. AND it's based on a battle that, for the chinese is, apparently, as famous as Waterloo is for us Europeans.
.. I liked it so much I even bought the longer, uncut version - and I don't buy dvds - don't believe in them...
