This is Asian cinema in epic proportions. John Woo's return is massive. Large fight sequences, glorious scenery, ok special effects, likeable characters. I was engaged for the duration. Only wavering during the made for Chinese audience scenes.
Overall a spectacular epic, you'll need to set aside 2.5 hours to view.
