Review of Click (2006) by Michael W — 28 Mar 2018
This movie is garbage and is not very funny the first and second act. So why am I giving this film a 80% out of 100%? Because the 3rd act of the whole film is the biggest moment in a film where I've cried, and for an Adam Sandler film, I really wasn't expecting that.
I genuinely don't cry more than once in a film that often, but this film I cried 3 times in the last 22 minutes. Now the acting is less than perfect (Except for the Fonz,) and about 85% of the jokes in this film aren't funny but the scenes where he pauses reality and hits someone and messes with them, I die of laughter.
Though the film does borrow very heavily from "It's a Wonderful Life" at the end it doesn't distract you at all when watching the film, and seeing how this film rips off the whole plot of "It's a Wonderful Life," one of my top 10 favorite movies, and my favorite christmas movie ever, it is actually very well pulled off, and to me this is the mature and futuristic version of that film.
Its not nearly as good as it but it is good in its own right, and considering I hate Sandler, that is saying a lot.
