Review of The Recruit (2003) by Jay L — 16 Apr 2011
"The most important thing you need to know us that you don't know sh*t. What you see, what you hear, nothing is what it seems.".
Director Roger Donaldson (13 Days, Spiecies) helmed this sizzling hot and crafty espionage thriller. The Recruit is complete excitement, a twist a minute brain busting knockout with more surprises than a 2 year olds birthday. Slick, sexy, and an unbelieveably cunning film that leaves you guessing until the very end. It's action packed the entire way thru with some spectacular chases and shootouts. Donaldson has shown that he is capable of making excellent films in nearly every genre, why not a fresh spy thriller to his resume.
Colin Farrell is great in the lead. Al Pacino still has it. Michelle Moynahan always does a great job. The acting is great from this all-star cast.
