Review of The Reader (2008) by Ricky G — 05 Jul 2013
I've decided that I really like post-World War II period drama, and this one, which confronts literacy as one of its central themes, battles its way through ambiguous tough stuff until it becomes more concrete.
When we get there, the victories and losses stack brutally, resolve completely, and all that's left is for us to consider is who exactly it is that the title of the movie really signfies.
