Quite a different and interesting approach to a very sensitive subject, despite its many obvious flaws…

Stephen Daldry manages to move Bernhard Schlink's great novel to the big screen, being a painful and touching story that shows the struggle…

Extremely good movie…

Kate is so damn fabulous every time. This story uses the nazi germans as element of guilt in a sexual love story between a woman and a boy…

Slow burn of a movie about long ago first love. Just awesome. Kate Winslet deserved her Oscar…

This was absolutely a phenomenal movie! Kate Winslet was excellent in her role of Hanna Schmitz. What a great movie to watch…

An emotional rollercoster. I have been wondering wether I love or hate this movie, but I cannot help it, I think it's fantastic…

If this film were a meal, it would be like having your pudding first, and then having to chew through one hell of a lot of wet spinach…

Very touching movie with ultra nuanced Kate Winslet performance as former ex-Nazi…

Nazi war crime drama. Young German lad has affair with illiterate Kate Winslet, and later discovers she was a guard in a concentration camp…
