Intense movie this!

For me, the best part was how Michael tried his best to help her, having realised she's actually illeterate, by sending her those recordings of his readings.

It's just unfortunate the internal battle within him to take on the responsibility of 'caring' for her after her sentence was over OR to remain distant, where the second option won over. It's such a pity that this ended up with her giving up on life, especially after she had worked so hard to learn to read and write at such an old age!
