An aloof Dr Manhattenish guy wanders out of ppl's lives searching for himself, thinks he finds enlightenment with a bunch of beards in the mountains, becomes convinced he is smacked with wisdom going around helping people, but breaks the heart of the one person who loves him unreservedly.
What an ass.
