Review of The Raven (2012) by Adam B — 02 Jan 2013

I'm ashamed to say I know next to nothing about Edgar Allen Poe and the only thing I've read of his is 'The Raven' . That didn't stop me enjoying this though and instead made me determined to go out and read more of his work.

I found the storyline itself is mysterious and compelling and the murders are grimm and sometimes a little elaborate. If the aim of the film was to introduce Poe to a new audience then I'd say job done.
