Review of The Raven (2012) by Carlos Javier P — 16 Oct 2012
FICTION about a copycat killer basing his murders on the work of Edgar Allan Poe. Poe aids the police in finding said killer and rescuing his eternal love. Don't expect to come away from it knowing anything about Poe as it is purely fiction.
Good performances but nothing memorable. The slow pace of the film leaves you easily distracted and apart from a few good scenes, it leaves you wanting a bit more of a conclusion. In all, mediocre.
