Review of The Raven (2012) by Sam D — 10 Aug 2014
A moody and bloody thriller in the vein of "from hell". Despite never really feeling like it provides any kind of insight into its characters, particularly Edgar himself, the tension is taut and the final reveal actually had me fooled.
Props also to the ever solid Luke Evans, who at least manages to install his character with an intriguing intensity.
