As described by a movie critic, this movie is an "anemic prodution": the general concept and story could be much better. Despise a nice photography and actings, the ploot and scenes have major flaws of continuity and many things have no sense at all.
The movie ssems to get the idea of Sherlock Holmes, and mix it with Allan Poe but the final result is bellow the average.
