Review of The Raven (2012) by Sarah H — 09 Dec 2012
Not entirely what I was expecting. You don't really have to be an Edgar Allan Poe fan for this to make sense, because they go into depth about what story each murder is from and how they are similar.
They do make reference to The Tell Tale Heart, probably the only story a lot of people have read. But when I say they reference it, that's all they do, they just mention it's existance. There were moments where I was proud of knowing the story before the murder actually took place, yay me for being a dork.
I'm still trying to figure out why when they went to the play house and they were doing MacBeth, they didn't call it "the scottish play" like they should have, but whatever. It was pretty gory if you wanted to see something like that, but I think it could have been executed a little better.
