Review of The Raven (2012) by Jordan R — 19 Jan 2013
The Raven takes it's silly concept very seriously: serial killer bases his crimes on Edgar Allan Poe stories, and plays a cat and mouse game with the author. Initially palatable, feeling meatier than the flashy Sherlock Holmes movies this surely it is trying to cash in on, but eventually becomes tiresome and repetitive, made worse by Cusack, who is as lifeless and morose as the rest of the production.
