Review of The Ramen Girl (2008) by Gavin T — 17 Jan 2010
Average, watchable fun for a lazy Saturday evening in with the missus.
Yes, the completly stupid, stereotype English guy and Southern States lady minor characters are completely pointless. The language issues in the film are unrealistic. etc etc etc.
However, we enjoyed it as a bit of light entertainment. It's interesting that the chef character is described as tyrannical.... well, there is a bit of cultural misunderstand. He was pretty much right to describe the Abby character as lazy, self-orientated etc.
