Review of The Railway Man (2013) by Elizabeth L — 25 Apr 2014
Excellent story about reconciling the horrors of your past for the promise of the future and love... yes, it is about war and cruelty but it is also about forgiveness and letting go of hatred so you can live, yet the film pivots around the accidental chance of unconditional love.
The abuse of it while one struggles to be there for the one you love and its transformative power when you recognize its many gifts.
