Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Phillip D — 28 May 2014

I was skeptical going in. The Raid 2 is long and all subtitles, two traits that I figured would not sit well in a major action film. I couldn't have been more wrong. The Raid 2 is brutal, exciting, visually stimulating and engaging from start to finish.

Simply put, this franchise is the future of martial arts action movies. Easily comparable to classics such as Enter The Dragon, The Raid 2 is a masterpiece that will be entertaining for years to come.

Additionally, stepping out the action is several really excellent foreign stars who I fully expect to see more of in the coming years. In short, go see it, you won't be sorry.
