Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Lester F — 10 Jul 2014
Everything the first movie was and much more. The action and gore is spectacular and clearly choreographed with great effort. What this film does better than its predecessor is the character development and the creating a more complex plot.
The two and a half hour run time means that the show was high-energy but not rushed. The movie has a few twists which I liked. The only caveat I have about the movie is that Alex Abbad's didn't seem as interesting as the others, though I wouldn't say that detracts from the movie.
