Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Jens L — 24 Jul 2014
After re-watching The Raid and watching The Raid 2 for the first time, I don't know if I can pick a favorite. They both lack a fulfilling story. But I think that's to be overlooked when considering how astonishing and inventive the choreography in both films are.
I think for director/writer, Gareth Evans, the films are less about the actual story and more about the exploration of choreographed movement.
