Review of The Raid 2 (2014) by Kelvin R — 16 Jan 2015
There's no Raid in this movie called Raid. I see a lot of business meetings. I see a few action pieces in between the business meetings. There is no raid, though. The first film was compelling because it was all contained in one building, the characters were sympathetic and the stakes were high.
I have no idea who any of these new people are, to be honest. Nor do I care what happens to them. Looks like Hollywood is not the only place where they make sequels only for the sake of selling more tickets.
