When you take a movie that has been done a million times before (character in horrible highschool, excapes and finds conformity, then retransitions into himself because you cant escape being yourself, ending up with the girl, and giving the bully's what they deserve) and take away the 1980's add in Austrailians and whitty dialauge it makes for a brilliant movie.
