This is as far as John Wayne spreads his acting wings, but it's enough. I try to watch this movie every St. Patrick's day. I still enjoy it. It's like meeting old friends for a drink. Definitely acted in the style of the time but that almost makes it more fun.
And Maureen O'Hara looks beautiful... so that's a bonus.
