Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Jeff Z — 25 May 2010
Terrific John Wayne/John Ford/Maureen O'Hara effort that gets great support from Barry Fitzgerald, Ward Bond and Victor McLaglen. The big fight is of course the highlight (and led to weak immitations in "North to Alaska" and "McLintock") but the rest is quite charming.
Let's hope nobody tries to remake this.
