Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Jeff B — 23 Jan 2011
Wonderful film directed by John Ford starring John Wayne as an American that returns to his Irish hometown which makes the townspeople have trouble adjusting to him. It starts a little slow, but it's never dull and the last 45 minutes are so are just so much fun and entertaining, it's impossible not to love it.
There are also some other great moments including the horse race on the shore. Good movie and a worthy Best Directing win by Ford.
