Review of The Quick and the Dead (1995) by Erin D — 20 Oct 2008
In a movie with such a big name cast, it's hard to care about any of these characters. This movie did make me realize what it is I like about most western films, good and bad; there's a compelling design dynamic to proper Victorian fashion that is covered with grit and grime.
For this reason I'm more interested in all of the other gunslingers in this movie, Costume Designer Judianna Makovsky imbues characters, who have only a few seconds of screen time, with such personality through their clothing that they become the most compelling thing on screen.
