Review of The Quick and the Dead (1995) by Darrell H — 21 Jan 2009
This one missed, in my book. Lots of people like it but I think the problem with it for me is that it is too slick. Where the inimitable Sergio Leone makes heat and conflist glisten with sweat and danger, Raimi here just makes everyone come off as as postured and squinty.
