Review of The Quick and the Dead (1995) by Kevin S — 12 May 2014
A mysterious woman comes to a small western town run by a corrupt governor. The woman has come for revenge against the governor for murdering her father when she was little. So she volunteers to be in the shootout the governor has come up with which he is also in.
Sharon stone and gene Hackman lead a great cast which includes a young Leonardo Dicaprio and even Russell crowe. Along with a great cast it has some pretty good characters. There's plenty of good action and loads of entertainment.
Sam Rami is one of those directors that has made plenty of good movies and this one of them. There's a spot where its a tad bit corny but other than that I thought it was a good movie. It's not the best western movie but it's still a fun movie to watch.
