One of Woody's better and lesser-known films. A beautiful testament to the escapist power of film. Some of the lines are absolutely priceless, the best being wide-eyed Mia Farrow's perfectly delivered, "I just met a wonderful new man.
He's fictional but you can't have everything." Jeff Daniels creates some marvellously subtle distinctions between the two characters he plays. And what an incredibly satisfying ending...
